Insuranceopedia explains Job Related Injuries

Many job related injuries involve physical trauma to the body, such as broken bones or lacerations. However, there are also other types of job related injuries that can occur. For example, exposures to chemicals or other hazardous materials such as asbestos in the work place can also cause job related losses. Further, psychological injuries can sometimes qualify as job related injuries as well. Workers' compensation insurance often covers all of these types of job related injuries.
