Insuranceopedia Explains All Lines Insurance

There are many different types of insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in one form of insurance, such as life insurance. However, there are also insurance companies that sell a whole range of insurance products, from personal lines (life, disability, personal liability, home, etc.) to commercial lines (commercial property, commercial liability, etc.). The second type of company can be described as all lines insurance company or multiple insurers.

There is also a policy that bundles several risks that could have been divided into several policies. A policy that covers health, homeowner, and automobile risks into one policy can be called an all lines policy or a multi-line insurance policy. There is usually a discount for this comprehensive policy.
