The Captive Insurance Companies Association, or CICA, as it is also referred to, is not bound to a certain region or company. Instead, it has a wide reach across many areas. However, CICA has a heavy presence in both Bermuda and Vermont. CICA was created in 1972. CICA provides an award called the CICA Distinguished Service Award. This award is given to the insurance professional who makes an outstanding contribution to the captive insurance industry and sets a great example for others to follow.
